Description

The most technical shoe in the TX Series range from La Sportiva, the TX Guide is dedicated to technical approaches and climbing. Initially designed for guides (hence the name, we assume) and mountain operators looking for a high-performance and durable product, this shoe is both versatile, lightweight, and protective. All the features required for approaches, fast hiking, and light climbing are combined in this model. In fact, La Sportiva has combined the technologies of its running shoes with technical solutions derived from climbing (sole, edges, and lacing) to create the TX Guide.
The upper is made in a single layer to optimize volumes, with an abrasion-resistant compound featuring TPU reinforcements on the outside and microfiber protection reinforcements on the inside. The asymmetrical lacing allows for a precise fit adjustment. The tongue construction is derived from running shoes to prevent the entry of external elements.
The insole features Ortholite Approach technology while the midsole is double compression EVA with TPU. As for the outsole, it is also very robust as it is Vibram MegaGrip ed Idrogrip and perfectly combines grip and durability while the pronounced heel facilitates braking downhill and traction uphill.
